Review Markus Schneider in Ellerstadt, Germany, is my favourite winemaker and winery in Germany. The Ursprung is a wonderful Cuvée red wine blending the grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Portugieser and Cabernet Mitos. All my friends love Ursprung, too, and it was our wedding party wine in 2008 making 125 guests very happy. Worthwhile to order directly from the winery and buy in bulk.
