I bought my Specialized Epic Expert in September 2008 and it is an excellent fully mountain bike. It has a Fox fork, Avid custom brakes and SRAM and Shimano shift components. It is really fast and the Brain rear shock control optionally disables the rear shock unless you hit a big bump. This makes the bike like a hard tail. In the colours red and white it is beautiful, too.
