Recently I made a new diet for 3 weeks which is called "Basenfasten" in German. The conept of the diet is that you eat only base-forming fruits and vegetables and leave out all the rest such as meat, fish, eggs, noodles, soy etc.. The idea is that most people eat too little base-forming food which is pretty bad in the long run. After 3 weeks I feel super happy and fit and lost 6 kilos. The book is only available in German, though. But I think there are similar diets and nourishment philiosophies in English. Talk with your doctor about your acid-base balance and how to reduce acids with base-forming food. |
